This is a bookcover for the book "Crossfire" which I never actually completed (hence the large open space above the characters). It was personally commissioned from Susan Van Camp over 5 years ago for a cyberpunk storyline about three characters (depicted in the image). The left is the "GunBunny", inspired by an image painted by Jeremy Bernal over ten years ago (before he went the route he went). The character is used with permission. The middle character is "Kaid" - a genetic scientist who created the technology allowing mankind to splice his genes with those of animals and end up looking like the characters in the image. The last is "Lynx" - a British bodyguard with a hankering for the violence of the street. A couple of stories entitled "Love at First Sight" are non-canon to the Crossfire storyline, but go into some of her background.
Together, the three spent a hectic 72 hours defending against an assault against Kaid's company by a rival corporation attempting to kill him before he released the latest upgrade to his genetic coding sequence.
It was likely one of the best adventures I've ever run (for GURPS Cyberpunk, with quite a bit of Bio-Tech thrown in, as you can see). Unfortunately, too many years passed between my running it and my attempting to finish the novel, and I forgot much of what made it as awesome as it seemed at the time.
